Sligo Education Centre is now taking expressions of interest from Sligo schools who wish to apply for whole school training on digital technology for the school year 2022/23.

Principals may wish to facilitate teachers to engage in our PDST Technology in Education online courses on digital technologies particularly in relation to up to ten 'Croke Park' hours that may be allowed for potential individual/small group use (Circular 0042/2016 Primary and Circular 045/2016 Post Primary).
CPD opportunities can be tailored to your schools’ staff needs and are funded by PDST Technology in Education. This can consist of anything from a standard national course to a less formal support group or tailor made course. Training can take place in your school, in the Education Centre, or can be delivered remotely via online Live Webinar. The training is dependent on tutor availability.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, face to face training will be dependent on public health advice and Department of Education guidelines that are in place at that time.
The minimum numbers required to run a course is 10, but smaller schools may wish to consider clustering with another local school. Whole school training can be used towards 'Croke Park' hours, at the discretion of school management.
