Student Leadership through climate action projects
Oct 5th  (7pm)
In this workshop, we will explore the power of taking action through activism in school and the community. The session will provide you with ideas and ways to communicate to your students about  the global history of activism and why activism is important. You will engage in two active learning games that will support students to generate ideas to take action and we will design an action plan that students can deliver in school and throughout the community. This session is sustainable for primary and post primary teachers.

This is the 2nd workshop in a 2 part series however attendance of the 1st workshop isn't essential.(Sept 13th)

The workshop is delivered by Sue Adams, founder of Education for Sustainability, an award winning social enterprise that provides action-based environmental programmes to schools that improve climate literacy and foster behavior change. Sue has designed and written a 10-week action-based climate literacy course that is taught in 52 schools nationwide. She is a passionate environmentalist  and educator in conservation and climate change. You can find more information about Education for Sustainability here https://educationforsustainability.ie/
