About Dr. Áine O'Dea, PhD
Dr. Áine O’Dea is one of Ireland’s leading occupational therapists, with a deep commitment to enhancing health and wellbeing for Dyspraxic children and adults. A respected clinician, researcher, and educator, she holds a PhD in Public Health Research through the prestigious SPHeRE programme and has published in high-impact journals including PLOS One and the British Journal of Occupational Therapy.
Dr. O'Dea brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and research insight to her work in schools, offering practical, evidence-based strategies to support inclusion, emotional regulation, motor development, and executive functioning. She regularly consults across the education, health, and business sectors and co-authored several chapters in Supervision for Occupational Therapy: Practical Guidance for Supervisors and Supervisees (2023).
Now based in Limerick, Dr. O’Dea leads Radiance Consulting, providing high-quality supervision, coaching, and training to allied health professionals in Ireland and internationally. She is passionate about helping educators and therapists create environments where all children can thrive.
