Empower Students with Effective Planning and Organisational Skills
Bridget Long- Senior Occupational Therapist
Feb 7th (5.30pm)
Students experiencing persistent challenges in planning and organizational skills may encounter difficulties in formulating well-structured plans, establishing achievable goals, and effectively managing tasks, especially ones that require both time management and organisation of materials.
These challenges can significantly affect functional performance skills, such as handling daily schedules, problem-solving tasks, completing independent work, meeting deadlines, and avoiding resource mismanagement.
Secondary issues may arise, leading to frustration and a hindered ability to realise their full potential.
This webinar seeks to understand the underlying reasons for these difficulties among certain students and aims to identify strategies for explicitly teaching specific skills or modifying the environment to enhance overall success.
Bridget Long- Senior Occupational Therapist will share some generic strategies that would work well within the class setting.
