Drama: How I use it in the classroom and why ?

We will explore drama and its benefits for teaching and learning in the primary school classroom. Aoibhinn Finnegan will provide practical ideas and opportunities for teachers to create their own drama for their classroom. This workshop will be useful for teachers at all primary class levels.
This workshop will:
- Give an overview of the drama strategies and suggestions for use and adaptation
- Provide tools and ideas for creating a drama using the wider primary school curriculum
- Explore a variety of stimuli for starting a drama lesson
- Explore themes such as wellbeing, bullying, self-esteem through drama
