Centre Re-opening following Covid-19 Restrictions
The management committee of Sligo Education Centre are currently making plans for the safe re-opening of the centre building following COVID-19 restrictions. All of our staff have been working remotely since 13th March and centre activities have been continuing online during the pandemic. It has been an even busier period than normal with the supports we have been providing to schools over the past few months, including the success of our Live Webinar Series. Our staff have been outstanding in meeting the needs of our schools, and we are very proud of the way they have adapted their work practices in such a short period of time.
The re-opening of the centre building will be taking place in two phases:
· Phase 1: Re-opening the centre for staff.
· Phase 2: Re-opening the centre for normal business, which will include the use of our meeting rooms.
To enable this to happen, Sligo Education Centre will be taking all reasonable steps to ensure the safety, health and welfare of all employees, clients, visitors and the general public. Central to this process will be following all HSE and Government guidelines and implementing measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19. The management committee and staff are busily working behind the scenes preparing the centre for this re-opening.
The layout of our meeting rooms are being adapted to ensure that social distancing of 2 metres can be maintained, and along with sanitisation and additional cleaning schedules, as well as a host of other preventative measures, we are looking forward to welcoming you back to our centre very soon.
If your organisation is interested in booking a meeting room, please get in touch with us by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we can provide you with more information on the measures we are putting in place.
Thank you again for your continued support of the centre.
