September 12th (7pm)
Facilitator: Lee O'Donnell
Lee will discuss his experience of creating a ‘Digital Learning Leaders Programme’ in his school. This programme allows students to engage in the process of delivering digital workshop and empowering students to take on leadership roles which will foster a culture of digital literacy in your school.
Attendees of the webinar will receive the following:
- A ‘Digital Learning Leaders’ specification designed by Lee that contains Learning Outcomes and Learning Intentions centred around developing digital literacy and leadership skills in the student body.
- A scheme of work that plans the digital literacy workshops across 1st to 3rd year in the Junior Cycle Programme and links each lesson to specific learning outcomes and learning intentions.
- Sample timetables of how Lee implemented the digital workshops within the Junior Cycle Wellbeing hours in his school.
- A PPT presentation that can be used to explain the programme to staff/management.
