A wide range of software is available for teachers to consult on a dedicated computer placed outside the resource library on the top floor.
A data-base of all titles is available.

Book a Room
The Centre has a number of rooms for training purposes and for meetings which are sometimes available for use.

Library
The library holds a substantial collection of books of use to teachers either for research or for practical help in the classroom. A full list of the books is available on request. The Centre intends to continue to develop this resource and is willing to take suggestions for books and journals that teachers can recommend from personal experience.

Photocopying, laminating and binding are available. Costs of these are available from the office.

Substitute Teachers:
Teachers who are available for employment may put their names on a list. If a school contacts the Centre in need of a teacher names are forwarded from the list. Sligo Education Centre accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of CVs. The responsibility for vetting these rests with the school.
