Teacher Professional Development in ICT
Sligo Education Centre provides a programme of ICT professional development focussed on the integration of ICT in teaching and learning. All courses are designed by the National Centre for Technology in Education and are fully funded for teachers attending.

Scheduled Courses
A schedule of courses is published each term. Courses range from 2.5 hours duration upwards and cover a broad range of topics including basic computer skills, web design, using the internet.

Whole School Courses
In addition to scheduled courses, courses can be run as “whole school” events, taking place either in the Education Centre or in your own school. These courses are based on the specific requirements of a school and can cover a range of different topics from using a digital camera to using the internet in teaching and learning.
